KKday is a serious platform. This review is narrower than that: how useful is it for Shibuya, in English?
What the search returned
On 3 September 2026, an English-language keyword search for “shibuya” on KKday returned three results available for booking. The visible entries were Hong Kong products — Tsim Sha Tsui, a Victoria Harbour night view, a seafood buffet.
Nothing in Shibuya. No observation deck, no karting, no workshops.
What that does and doesn’t mean
It would be wrong to conclude that KKday has no Japanese inventory. It has historically had a great deal.
Two more likely explanations:
1. Search behaviour. Keyword matching on a district name may simply not map onto how the catalogue is structured. Browsing by destination — Japan, then Tokyo — is a better test than searching “shibuya”.
2. Language-dependent catalogue. KKday is a Taiwanese company, and platform coverage frequently differs by interface language. Its Traditional Chinese and Japanese interfaces have historically surfaced more Japanese inventory than the English one.
But the practical consequence for an English-speaking visitor is unchanged. If a search for the district returns nothing you can book, it is not a usable booking route for that trip.
Who it might still work for
Readers of Traditional Chinese or Japanese. Try it in that interface. The difference can be significant.
Price comparison. Where a Shibuya product appears on both KKday and Klook, checking both takes a minute.
Wider Japan trips. This review covers Shibuya only. For other Japanese destinations, KKday may be a completely different proposition.
What to use instead

GetYourGuide — the guided tours, including evening tours that bundle deck entry.
The official site — cheapest for standalone deck entry, at ¥2,700 or ¥3,400 for adults.
